In addition to the coaching support by the mentor, Copernicus Accelerator mentees also benefit from exclusive webinars in which they are provided with approximately 1-hour training on either a technical or a business topic. The webinars´ speakers share their knowledge and experience about additional and useful tools which help Copernicus Accelerator participants to take their business ideas to the next level. Questions and debate with participants are also encouraged, in order to make the sessions interactive. As part of the Copernicus Accelerator programme, only mentees and mentors can attend the webinar, but everyone else interested in the topics, is kindly invited to listen to the recordings of the webinar afterwards! Please note: Only the business webinars will be made public, not the technical ones.

Webinar #2: DIAS offerings for Start-Ups

Copernicus is the largest space data provider in the world, currently producing 12 terabytes per day. To facilitate and standardise access to this data, the European Commission has launched five cloud-based platforms providing centralised access to Copernicus data and information, along with cloud-based processing resources, tools, and third-party datasets, products, and services – the Data and Information Access Services or DIAS.

The webinar provides the exclusive opportunity to learn what the DIAS offer to the participants of the Copernicus Start-up Programme. A particular focus will be on the DIAS vouchers which will be made available to all mentees of the Copernicus Accelerator 2019.

Following a general introduction by AZO, the DIAS providers will present their specific voucher offerings for your start-ups and answer your questions. This is a rare opportunity to get first-hand information on how you as a start-up can benefit from ever-growing services and datasets in the Copernicus ecosystem.
